Wandering in this labyrinth
I am lost in thought I fear
With a map no longer clear


My reality is easy to ignore
While I fight this mental war
Mindless banter keeps me going
With a smile always showing

Nagging thoughts every hour
I'd stop them if I had the power
But I always think
Trying to find the missing link



I think too much I know
But I can't let go
A bad habit I've tried to break
But my attempts don't appear to take



The path of thought never ends
Constantly twisting and turning
Until my head spins



I'm cluttered with the fragments
Of yesterday's events
Pondering my existence
With such persistence
So many dreams left to uncover
But it seems I'll never discover...


I'd end this battle
Of constant prattle
