apricot, gold, and rose leaves
quiver with the gusty wind
rattling, before a settle draft comes,
sweeping up the divine leaves
gliding them gently with the breeze
daintily to the dewy ground
where they lay,
still and alone;
becoming part of the soil
in anticipation for the coming winter.
