I'll embrace my weary confidence
Because it took a beating-
Tied to the steaks of worthlessness
The chains broken when
Judgment was no longer at a pin-point,
Pressure subsided:
I may never be pretty
Through the eyes that look at me
But just the same...

When judgment seems to fly around you, because you don't fit the standards (in this poem, my struggle is beauty) stay true to yourself. You have self-worth.
