Sit now
Burst from the seams
Stress and pain and emotion
Begging to be free
Get out the paper
Dip the pen
And write
And pour
Ruin the white pristinity
Colour the pages
With shades of black and love
Words flood
Words deluge
Words overwhelm
Drown out the outside
Open the flood gates from within
Copy your soul
Breathe life into it
Give it substance and form
A place to exist
Let it see the light of day
And the twinkles of the stars
Free from it's bottle
Free at last
Release
And
Stop
Take the pages
Dripping with your heart
Your blood
Your sweat
Your emotion and soul
And before the ink can dry
Burn
Let the flames engulf
Consume, erase
What you made
Who you are
No one wants to see you
No one wants originality
Hide it
Pull the mask over your face
Walk outside
Feel the bone chill
Of the empty world.
Free from passion
The heat of words
Go forth
Fake life
But don't live
