The Ball

All I can think about is the ball,
It's going to be so magical.
I couldn't believe it when he asked me,
How could I be so lucky?
I pass down my crown this year,
to someone who is worthy to wear it.
When they start to announce queen,
I know it will no longer be me.
Who cares who it'll be,
I know I am going to feel like a queen,
Next to my king.
I'll be thinking, how could this have happened to me?
The night will be over way too soon,
Maybe a night like this will happen again.
Maybe no formal dresses or dancing,
Just me and my king together again.
