Solitude
Frigid,
it runs in my veins.
Contradiction,
I feel like I’m burning.
Rope skidding,
abrasion,
against my organs.
The night,
peace, calm, rest
is like a reminder,
everything I
am not.
The day,
blazing, clear,
illuminates
how so
alone I
am.
There is no cave,
no falsity.
I will
revel in the truth,
in the light.
At least
I
have seen.
