Favorite Quote:
"He not busy being born, is busy dying"-Bob Dylan

As spring fills the air,
then comes the absent stare,
winter sounds to fall apart,
living with cold, empty hearts.

Humming briskly in the breeze,
soft gusts of wind left unseized,
upon a day when pushed to your knees,
no complaints, no begging please.

The author's comments:
I interpret this poem as a wake up call. People move past tragedy and loss because they are afraid to face the truth. They are "masquerading" around, pretending it's not real, until they are forced to see the reality. When reality finally hits it hits harder because they tried to overlook it. They put themselves in that situation and can't complain.
