When I Look at You
When I look at you
I see a mirror
reflecting regrets I face day after day
When I look at you
I think of how badly I want to start over
How I just wish forgiveness was on the edge of your mind
ready to roll off your tongue and chime in my ears
When I see you
I see an old best friend
I remember how we could make eachother laugh in the saddest of times
And when I see you
I have that hope
that one day we can be best friends again
Every time I see you
I pray, so hard, that you will forgive me
