He is polite and gentle, whispers
Carefully in my ear. I never thought that one
Could be so bold.

I used to think that respect couldn’t
be any more than manners yet time shows
me he could be a mime and still speak today,
today the actions
shocked my soul
it’s caress on the hearts of bold men
men that know the boundaries of relationships

so today I glance at loyal men and see respect,
I saw respect today little did he know
This poem was about him

Today, I saw respect, his head held high yert not prideful

Today I saw respect
