For the feeling,
The momentary lie,
She calls for you.
The whisper in the back of your head,
Tells you over and over,
What’s already on your mind,
The momentary lie.
The clench of your throat when you hear it,
The tingle down your spine,
That’s the momentary lie.
The misery you feel without it?
That’s reality,
Step into the real world,
Out of the momentary lie.
The hardest part,
Is the first step,
