I am a shopaholic
I wonder do I need this shirt
I hear a credit card being swiped
I see another shirt across the aisle
I want this new shirt
I am a shopaholic

I pretend I have unlimited money
I feel the urge to buy
I touch the satin of the shirt
I worry will I have enough money
I cry for the urge to buy
I am a shopaholic

I understand that I don’t have enough money
I say I need this shirt
I dream of wearing the shirt
I try to walk away
I hope I can
I am a shopaholic
