Trapped
The sand runs over my legs, tickling the soles of my feet.
I wonder if I'll ever run again like I did through the streets. It now covers my hips, rising up through my dress.
I wonder if I'll ever kiss again with my ruby red lips.

Up to my neck now, way up high.

I wonder if I'll ever see the sky again so, so shy.
My hair is disappearing, the sand seeping through.
I wonder if I'll ever hear the cows again going moo.
Then the wave comes up taking all that away.
Now I am free, but all alone and with nowhere to stay.
