If Only You Knew

He is my hope.
My world,
My passion,
My comfort,
My eternal burning light.

I love him.

A day's happiness is
Looking at him.
Drinking in his face
Basking in desire

Then i am not breathing.

A crippling wave of dark despair
Locks around my organs
Mind
Heart
Soul.

I gasp and shudder
weeping
Love
Alone.

I shut down
And suffer
The silent agony

If only you knew that
I love you
And I hurt
So much

When I see you smile at her.
