Lost Forever

The lily grew in pure innocence,
Knowing nothing about the bee’s existence,
It opened it petals to the black insect,
And it fostered with greed and neglect,
The lily cared only for its white beauty,
As her beautiful petals had made her a celebrity,
But the bee felt unhappy and
Wanted to reverse what he did years ago,
But the lily refused to comply,
For she had overgrown like fungi,
The bee sadly returned to its comb,
As the lily had lost its innocence forever.
