At the sight of it
you think of who I am
But you can’t tell a person’s character
by their side profile
At the sight of it
you let others see me
how you see me
But you can’t
let go of
the very thing that
weighs you down
Because you
know who I am,
you easily
determine other’s fate
You don’t know me
I thought you held on
to the very thing that
chained us together
But at the sight
of it all, it won’t always
be the same.
But who am I
to speak.
I mean hey,
we can’t look at other’s
from their side profile
It could all turn
out to be
what we thought
it was meant to become
