Living;
Is hard.
Every corner you turn
Every lesson you learn
Is part of a plan.
A plan of who you'll be
Who you are
A decision isn't a decision
With freewill.
The computer screen
The Facebook post scream
I AM NOT FREE.
In breathing and blinking and living
There are rules.
Dying;
Has no rules.
A breath
A step out of line
Isn't punishable
In death
Everything is fine
Living;
Has more boundaries than what it's worth
Has more rules than can be comprehended
Has more punishment than reward.
As I slowly see
How my friends start to leave
As stay behind
Out of line
