Jumping
Laughing
Screaming
Sometimes fighting
But never meaning
Bare feet
Mud pies
Playing house
“Who”s going to be the dad?”
“Not me
I want to be the babysitter
Who has her licence.”
When I was young
Days were long
I miss singing that song
Now I am older
Days seem colder
Always pushing that boulder.
Good-bye!
My sweet childhood pie
I will miss you.
Working
Living
Always giving
And receiving
Grateful.
