Two-way glass
From the darkened vacant room I could see your eyes shining.
Behind this two way glass you can only imagine how much I’ve cried for you.
Watching you, a prisoner of my own mind. But why can’t I let you go?
Glass stained from my fingers trying to draw messages upon the fogged window.
Every unspoken word, every movement of stone.
And you never even knew I existed.
I’ll turn the lights off, shut the curtains, slip a key under your door.
Escape is the only thing you can do now.
I’ve let go of the thought that you could forever be mine.
