Like Ink
Like ink,
Running down my cheeks,
Streaking my pale face,
Washing away my freckles,
Making my identity,
Framing me as,
Its own pretty little picture,
Darker and darker,
It runs,
Flowing down my face,
My cheeks a deep purple,
No longer pale,
Shh,
It stops when I do,
And then one last stream,
Bubbles down my long-forgotten features.
