until then cigarettes were harmless lollipops
goodbyes were just till tomorrow
and the only thing that hurt were skinned knees
this day
we take our puffs of poison
goodbyes are forever
and now spitted words and frantic fists leave us with
scars
so why did we fog our minds
wishing we were older?
