Two stools sit in the corner
both have seen a lot
only one shows weakness
It’s knees buckle out
the load it bears has been heavy
the other stands strong and proud
still possessing a passion for life
Why is one stool so burdened
while the other stays carefree?
Has it been a favorite
constantly called upon to work?
Did is suffer a trauma?
or is it just weak.
