Toes of Prose

March 13, 2011
I missed this pen;
longed to feel it
pirouette across pages
between my calloused fingers.

En pointe, it dances about,
giving way to steady vernacular.

It dips, glides, leaps, and twirls
like a prima ballerina
and stops at the end of the poem
with a practiced halt.

Absolutely amazing!  Beautiful.  I love it so much.  Great work!  A fantastic poem.  Imagery and I loved the words, and the title makes it even better.

Thanks! My teacher actually helped me come up with the title.
