Who Would Have Thought
Met you as a young girl
Chilling at the park
Thirteen and fourteen
Too young to stay til dark
Had you in my crib
Brought you to my bed
All we did was lie there
Listening to the music in our heads
Three years, four years
Five years passed
Break-up after break-up
We still thought we would last
You broke my heart
But it's alright
I cheated, you cheated
Now it's a fight
Now I grow without remorse
Though within myself I fought
Still I feel no regrets
Tell me, who would have thought?
