Picture Perfect
A pretty picture painted;
By a nail, hung on the wall
A very gallant man
He stands proud; he stands tall
Mood less face; piercing dark eyes
Stare deep, angelically, into your soul
Holds his head high; shoulders broad
His love takes a devastating toll
One would believe it's the painting of a soldier
One would be blinded by this front
For this is the perfect picture of a traitor
For this is a lying, cheating runt
Time and time again love strikes the heart
Dragging the feelings of want and desire along
At times creating provocative thoughts in our minds
That causes depression in our lives when told, "So long"
Here hangs the perfect picture
Of what teases all emotions
Here hangs the perfect picture
Of problems without solutions
