Sometimes I lay in bed at night
I think,
I think about who will be the next to die.
So many kids,
Innocent kids,
They have died this year.
One is too many,
More is overkill.
I wonder why they were so sad,
Or why they were not paying attention.
If I could of helped them,
I would.
The truth is,
I will never know why.
So that just leaves me,
Wondering
