If life was a daisy
Our days would be the petals
He loves me
He loves me not
Wasting away with worry
If life was the sun
Our thoughts would be the planets
Constantly revolving around
How to make it last longer
And if life was a storm
(As it so often is)
Each moment is a raindrop
Pounding, never ending receptiveness
Drumming against your soul
Seems like it will last forever
Drowning in a storm of tears
But then the clouds break, letting in the light
And there is a rainbow in the end
