Teach me how to UNDERSTAND
These words
That I hear
And be able to know
What these sounds really mean

Teach me to HOPE
That tomorrow
Maybe a better day
Than today, or Yesterday or any other day in my life
That I may wish to live longer, to live for the better

Teach me How to BREATHE
That I may
Be able to smell the crisp air
And feel the wind against my skin
And Write, Understand, Hope
