A silenced voice
Never able to speak
Tugged and pushed over
The once high peak
A blinded eye
Will never see
Beyond his smile
To what he'll be
Two beaten ears
That could only hear
The melody of his voice
That she now missed dear
His sweet smell
Enhanced with pain
It broke through the barrier
Of his mind, once sane
Did you see his bones?
The way they twist and bend
They're dead and broken
No chance of a mend
A broken heart
Waiting to mend
To be thrown into the world
And broken again
