As I sit by the glistening pool
that will one day be my beautiful pond,
I think about you.
As each tear drops,
I wish I could stop.
For this isn't what you want.
But I'm not in control anymore.
I start to think about life
and the tears start to flow.
My glistening pool will be a beautiful pond soon
And I will plunge in
And never resurface...
