I’m from numbers.
Four hungry people,
Two homes,
Two states,
Two cities.
Three bedrooms,
Three dinners,
None eaten in the kitchen.
Two divorced parents,
Two raging teenage minds,
One bathroom,
Two sinks.
Four names,
Four minds,
Four hearts,
Two broken.
Two siblings that act more like exes,
Two parents who pretend to get along,
Four separate bedrooms,
Four separate lives.
Two private school educations,
Fathered by one high school dropout,
One boy trying to forget it,
One girl trying to cover it up.
