waiting for the moment,
stuck in neutral wanting a push,
just still waiting,
for the starting gun,
for the brilliant thought,
the lights to go on,
waiting for the chains to break,
the final note to be sung,
waiting for lighting's strike,
for action,
from anyone,
waiting for the door to open,
wanting to take the plunge,
needing sparks to set ablaze
When will this needless waiting be done?
