I think I'm falling for you
Just the thought scares me
I'm so afraid you will leave
or not like what you see once you get close enough
So I'll try to keep a safe distance
But knowing me I probably can't
I'll get too close, hold you too tight
say something wrong, not do something just right
and you will run
like a deer from gunshots
slip through my fingers
like sand in an hourglass
disappear like a gohst in my mind
how long will it take?
I can never tell but I'll continue to try
