This place of colors and playful,
Wonders covers me with its shadows.
I love to sing and laugh with the dancing darkness.
The breeze that nuzzles my face is soft and friendly,
It blows the leaves of my tall companions into my hair.

For being the girl who hides her pain,
The berries are the best treat I could eat.
My land of enchantment, danger, and adventure
Gives me love that doesn't come from reality.
The scent of freedom and happiness carries my soul to the top of its mountains,
To a world where in its silence and stillness,
The pain is forgotten and the peace is fulfilling and eternal.

Take me to my childhood,
My place of dreams and wonders.
I have been taken out and determined to find my way back in.
I need the berries of love to nourish my broken heart and inner child;
Since she left I was forced to cross the horrid bridge.

This place is the dwelling of the heart,
The soul
And of a broken child.
