The things I say and the places I go
are all a combination of things I don't know
from the sass that I spit in the face of another
then returning home to my little brother
using my impulse instead of my head
fear of a future that I dread
nothing is fair in the life I lead
I'm not one who wishes to be carried off by a knight and noble stead
instead I wish to live alone
to be the queen of my castle and keep to my throne
I want the opportunity to rise and be great
instead I'm stuck at home staring at my plate
whether it's empty or full
exciting or dull
this is the life I lead
