The foul grammar that seeps away
From the lips of Austin Ryhmer
Builds my grammar with pride
His bird’s chest cracks my shell of sanity
His work is constantly missing
Just like his brain cells
Then we have our interracial couple
Don’t get me wrong
I love them dearly
Sex talk hits
and rolls of the tip of their tongues
Their lubbie dubbie vibe hits the air
And it attracts attention
Reminding everyone of Othello and Desdemonia
How sweet is Chelsea?
The girl who encourages everyone to complete their work
The girl who is quiet
And doesn’t bother or detest anyone
But bother her, and she will freak out
Lets not forget reading logs
Excuse me
Those wonderful reading logs
Yes, I said wonderful
Those reading logs who had the sign up
The sign that read, “No right turn on Forbidden Word St.”
Oh I almost forgot Mrs. Weathers’ voice
Which will play in our heads for the rest of our lives
The teachers that puts forth effort like no other
The teacher that loves us so much
The teacher that treats her students like her own children
The teacher that taught me the real english
and the poetry too
The teacher with the big ego
With an immense heart
Out of the many teachers that I’ve had
I will never forget one
Mrs. Emily Weathers

This is a brilliant poem. I like this poem because I greatly agree with your poem and I too have this wonderful teacher known as “the teacher that puts forth effort like no other.” Although she may sometimes seem overwhelming, she will go down in history as one of the greatest teachers of all time.
