I remember
I remember jumping into bed so nothing could grab my feet.
I remember playing outside, the fort,
and catching crawdads.
I remember grandmas sweet cooking, hot summers and watermelon.
Playing in the yard, jumping through sprinklers, and water slides.
Me, my sister, Katie and Savannah.
I remember being dropped off at preschool, not wanting to go in and not wanting to leave at the end of the day.
I remember California, the ocean, and the swing set.
I remember going home to grandpas, grandmas, uncles, aunts and cousins.
The stairs to the back yard the swing in the tree and the fountain.
The twelve hour drive through plains and a whole lot of nothing.
I remember playing in the garden, playing with Katie and swimming everyday.
Making Showers in the back yard, paper mache, and mini society.
Dressing and singing like the Spice Girls, our heroes.
Four inch wedge silver high heels.
I remember being happy and blissful.
