Can you hear me
can you touch me
can you love me
Why must i feel so distant
so unexisting that, the numbness have taken over me
i don't ask for much but you to hold me
i don't wanna cry alone feel alone
can you hear me
can you touch me
can you love me
not from who I'm tr yin to be
but for the blood that you help raise in me
I'm motherless , fatherless stuck in the middle of wanting attention
but not needing it between calling on my grandma and not wanting you around
can you hear me
can you touch me
can you love me
grandma I'm screaming but you cant hear me
I'm reaching out but you aren't leaning
can you hear me
can you touch me
can you love me
this poem is use to get your attention
but are you really listening
grandma i love you
will you say it back
iguess you cant hear me
so ill say it for you
i love myself back

I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.
