My mother taught me how to cope
When life just doesn’t seem fair.

I’ve see that woman hit a wall
And come back stronger
Time and time again.?

She’s been the rock that saves
The drowning, even as she
Herself gasps for breath.

My mother has taught me
To have faith, especially when
Times are tough

My mother has raised me strong
And for that-
I cannot thank her enough.
