Eyelash curler to lengthen damp eyelashes ,
Concealer to cover dark circles from loss of sleep,
Lipstick to cover the cuts i placed there from biting my lip against the pain .
But this isn't me .
I'm beaten and bruised
not this overdone perfection.
My eyelashes are damp from tears shed.
My Eyes do have dark circles from loss of sleep because thoughts of you linger,
And my lips are bruised because i bite my lips to stifle sobs as i try to convince myself you don't get to me .
and the make up is just cover.
This isn't me .

This piece is inspired by people who hurt but try to pretend they don't because they don't want to show that person their weaknesses.
