Lord of the skies,
Master of the seas,
Ruler of the Underworld,
Dueling gods are there.
Master of the seas,
The ocean's deadly might.
Dueling gods are these
Locked in an eons-long fight.
The ocean's deadly might
Battle with lightning and death.
Locked in an eons-long fight,
Won't stop till the final breath.
Battle with lightning and death
For power and control.
Won't stop till the final breath,
No matter the conflict's toll.

The author's comments:
This is a poem written about the constant battles between the gods Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades.
