betrayal

you leave,
that's what you are good at
walking away is who you are
you say the world has forced
this upon you,
anytime i disagree you
say i have turned against you
but,in all reality, it is you
who has betrayed me,
you left me when i was
starving for the affection
you selfishly denied-i
however will never return
the favor,so while you
slowly rot in your world,
i will thrive in my own.
