It does abhor me now I speak the word;
The Story of Othello, have you heard?
Othello and Desdemona went on a date
Desdemona, well, she had a 10 as her rate
Then they got married, it was their fate.
She gave me for my pains a world of sighs:
Then came Barbantio with a loud cry
Barbantio, well, he was too late
To make all the vows deactivate
There was a war and a soldier, Nate Tate,
Well he was killed by the soldier Cate Yait.
We have done our course;
lets track the rumors to the source
So Iago decided to set up the bait
And Iago made the choice to humiliate
loyal lieutenant Cassio by sating
his appetite for alcohol. But Iago didn’t ate
any alcohol at all. He wanted to eliminate
all of the honest and loyal mates.
oh his plan was just so great.
everyone is just so full of hate!
we must think men are not gods,
wow this story is quite odd
Thou told'st me thou didst hold him in thy hate.
soon the plan was to make Cassio and Desdemona abate.
Iago did the equating
and then he started waiting
soon his brain luminated
he had procrastinated.
it was time to ruminate
and soon exterminate
maybe even castrate
Though I do hate
everyone would be incinerated
For nought I did in hate, but all in honour.
Iago is just such a dishonor, in his terrible emotional state
Why does he always want to instigate?
if Iago could run with a cool gait
and could jump over the extremely tall gate,
but still without hurting his pate
he could poison Othello’s plate
then Iago could just skate
through life making triplates
Iago is definitely not a larsh
And sweet revenge grows harsh.
he would starve in jail and loose weight.
Wow, this story is turning out great.
But that is just so truly fake
What really happened is lovers heartbreak
Death purges on everyone but Iago, Cassio, and Bianca
Wait, Bianca? The whore? She moved to Sri Lanka
Iago gets tortured, and everyone will laugh
Though poor Cassio, he hurts in his calf
Now the story has come to its end,
These characters really should learn how to be friends
And now all of the students can bellow,
Oh, so that’s what happened to Othello!

My crazy English teacher wanted me to write a poem about the play Othello using 40 words that rhymed with hate. So here it is :).
