Broken Battlefield

It's just a mumble
but then it changes
it turns to shouting
and then to booming

there are cracks of pain
and a silent throb
suddenly the clouds
begin to slowly sob

ripping the dark sky
into many sized pieces
over and over again
strangely it doesn't show

calming and slowing
cushioned and healing
nobody even knowing
the actual truth
