One Day I was fine
playing basketball
playing baseball
I was high on life
The next Day I was
a cripple
one simple jump
one single break
one bad mood
then I was on crutches
there was pain
there was worry
the next day
I had a new best friend
a walking boot
at first wanted to walk
now I want to run
I will now cherish every step
I take for the rest of my life
