The Dawning

To be frank, I conceive these thoughts
Of how my course of life should be
Many times I concoct this vision,
This hunger and expectancy
Like building castles in the air
Describing what my heart desires
Which forces my mind to agree
I wish for love as such
The kind you almost faint at their touch
To feel the passion deep down
At this sudden dawning.
But how, I ponder day and night
Do you find that certain one,
without trying around?
That is guaranteed to bring sorrow
The dark and not the sun
To break others' hearts in this hurried hunt
Not knowing what will happen tomorrow
