What She Feels
The only thing she’s ever known,
Is how to never say.
She’s always on her own,
Each and every day.
She sits down and cries,
Mascara down her face.
Trying to cover the lies,
Even though they won’t erase.
She misses the way that he cared,
The way he held her hand.
Now she’s so scared,
Because this was never planned.
She can’t forget what they had,
The love that they shared.
But she’s so mad,
Her heart can’t be repaired.
She’s gotta forget the past,
But she doesn’t know how.
She knew they’d never last,
But take a look at her now.
