Silent Whispers

The silent whispers of the night
creep inside my body
crawl under my skin
and bury themselves to where I can't see them
I feel every move
I hear every sound
the icy breath of the unknown awakens my shadow
to escape and become one of them
I shiver and shake
I toss and turn
I fight the feeling
I try to find a cure
but all is lost within the
silent whispers of the night.
