Come In With The Rain

The silence of the rain comforts me,

as I walk down the road of "life"...
alone.
I've hidden myself from the world.
no one can find me
and no one will ever try.
I'm lost and can never be found.

I sit outside your window,
in hope you'll wake up from reality and enter my dream.
but to you,
I'm worthless.
I'm just a mistake in your past.
I'm lost and can never be found.

I now stand in the world of the unknown,
not as a person,
but as a photo album of your mistakes,
abandoned and useless.

I open my palm to the world,
as I watch a lifeless rain drop crash against the soft edges of my skin.
I start to believe in myself for once.
people begin to appear on my road of "life"
but with one simple blink,
they disappear.
I'm lost and can never be...
found
