Dirty windows
Keep a million secrets
Each minute whispers a new one
Into your hollow ears
A million and one

Hidden from a world
That won’t invite you in
The blemished glass conceals you
From a world consisting of terror
Yet grace

A world that can’t seem to decide
Between good and evil
They want peace but turn to war
This world condemns you as neutral
A dead end
Dangerous
Showing a weakness that allows
Left and right
Black and white
To devour you all at once

Forcing you
To spend your days
Living behind
The dirtiest of windows
