Daydreams

February 28, 2011
Here I am again in my daydreams
Where everything is the way I want it to be
Just you with me, and me with you
Talking, laughing, telling secretes we wouldn’t share with anyone

Now we’re walking through the woods
Whispering to each other
You and me together, me and you together
Telling each other of the love we share

Strolling through the meadow
Under the moon so full
You and me forever, me and you forever
We hold each other close

“Taylor!” the shout awakes me from my trance
“Just another daydream.” I sigh
Then a thought occurs to me and I smile
You and me forever

I really liked it! Usually (and this is just my opinion!), I don't like poetry that doesn't rhyme at all...But this might've changed my mind! It's really really sweet! I like the use of you and me, and me and you. Anyway, continue writing poetry! You've got talent! (:
